Here, I developed a feature called “What To Watch” to tackle this issue.
This tool suggests a movie to watch by analysing your taste based on previous movie bookings made on the platform.
This feature improves the user experience by offering customised recommendations based on the user’s previous booking.
This function provides users a variety of information to help them choose which movie to watch, including the platform’s rating, a recommended ratio, and similar watch movies.
The Recommended Ratio in this case indicates the percentage of the film that is suggested to you based on an analysis of your past bookings, regardless of whether those films were box office hits or busts.
The term “Similar Watch” refers to your past movie bookings, which may be similar to the film you’re willing to watch.
Thus, when a lot of films are released, users may quickly choose what to watch with this potential.
